Hi! I’m Sawan Kumar, a PhD student at IIT Delhi.
My research spans scalable Bayesian methods, uncertainty quantification, physics-informed deep learning, Gaussian Processes, and computational mechanics. I am fortunate to be advised by Prof. Souvik Chakraborty and Prof. Rajdip Nayek.
Previously, I interned at the Foundation for Smart Manufacturing (FSM) at IIT Delhi, where I worked on robotic automation and AI for robotics. Before that, I applied machine learning and AI techniques to enhance the design and performance of electric vehicles as a team lead for Hertz Electric at DTU.
